Our goal is to provide unparalleled behavior therapy services to the San Francisco Bay Area community.

We offer 3 types of services:

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for Autistic children, teens, and adults and others diagnosed with ASD of all support levels.

Individual Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for typically developing children, teens, and adults suffering from OCD, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, Tic Disorders, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, and Specific Phobias.

E

Individual CBT for children, teens, and young adults diagnosed  ASD who also struggle with one of the above conditions.

Benjamin Tucker, M.S., LPCC, BCBA

Founder and Clinical Director

Mr. Tucker is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the field of behavior therapy. With a unique mix of depth and breadth in his training and experience and a passion for offering the best of a science of human behavior to enrich the lives of individuals, Mr. Tucker started Open Spectrum Behavior Therapy. He currently serves as the director and as a clinician delivering direct services to clients and providing direction and oversight to clinical staff. He has developed a reputation among colleagues and clients as a knowledgeable, effective, and hands-on behavior analyst.

Mr. Tucker earned his B.A. in psychology from St. Olaf College in 2007 and M.S. in the clinical psychology program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. While obtaining his M.S. from UW-Milwaukee he gained experience in behavior therapy for Tic Disorders and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors and published several peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters on the subject under the mentorship of Dr. Douglas Woods. He began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2010 as a behavior therapist. For years he worked full time serving individuals diagnosed with ASD and gaining experience working in homes, schools, and the community. He quickly developed a passion for behavior analysis and working with Autistic people. Since this time, he has served as a behavior consultant and case supervisor with multiple ABA agencies and independently. Over the years, he has worked with young people of all ages and support levels. More recently, he served as a therapist at the Bay Area OCD and Anxiety Center providing Cognitive Behavior Therapy and exposure-based treatments. During this time he worked with hundreds of clients with OCD, anxiety, and related conditions including many in an intensive outpatient level of care. He started Open Spectrum Behavior Therapy in 2017 with the intention of building a practice in which he could continue to serve individuals diagnosed with ASD, OCD, anxiety, and related conditions.

Elizabeth Grant, M.S., BCBA

Behavior Analyst
Elizabeth Grant implements behavior therapy with Open Spectrum clients in home, community, and telehealth settings. She has a strong background with 5 years of experience using Applied Behavior Analysis and 3 years of experience utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention with clients in-home and in a Partial Hospitalization Program. She holds a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Elizabeth earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from University of California, Davis and her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University.
